Motown Mercy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Metro Detroit by supporting students, families, schools, homeless individuals, and underserved community members through volunteer service, donations, tutoring, school supplies, meals, clothing, toy drives, and community outreach.
Our Mission
Motown Mercy's mission is to uplift and empower individuals and families across Metro Detroit by providing essential resources, support, and opportunities for growth. We believe every person deserves the chance to thrive with dignity, hope, and compassion. Through community partnerships, volunteer service, and direct outreach, we work to support those facing hardship while helping build a stronger, more connected Detroit.
Our work is centered on mercy, service, and action. Whether we are helping schools, supporting student clubs, organizing homeless outreach, providing school supplies, offering tutoring, or coordinating donation drives, our goal is to meet real needs in the community and create lasting positive change.
Who We Serve
Students
We support students through tutoring, school supply drives, toy drives, and educational outreach programs that help them feel prepared, encouraged, and supported.
Families
We help families across Metro Detroit by connecting them with essential resources, donation drives, food support, clothing, and community-based assistance.
Homeless Individuals
We serve homeless individuals by organizing hygiene care packages, blankets, meals, clothing, and outreach efforts that provide dignity, warmth, and compassion.
Community Members in Need
We support anyone facing hardship by working with local partners, volunteers, schools, shelters, and community programs to meet real needs with mercy and action.

Organizations We Work With
Motown Mercy partners with schools, student organizations, shelters, community groups, and local service programs to support meaningful outreach across Metro Detroit. We are a flexible nonprofit organization that works with different groups to create programs, organize donation drives, provide tutoring, and meet community needs.
Schools
We support schools through tutoring, school supply drives, toy drives, food assistance, and student-centered outreach. Our goal is to help students feel supported, prepared, and encouraged inside and outside the classroom.
Student Clubs
We partner with student-run clubs and campus organizations to create service opportunities, volunteer events, donation drives, and community outreach projects. These partnerships help students turn their ideas into real impact.

We work with shelters, soup kitchens, and local community programs to provide essential items such as hygiene care packages, clothing, blankets, meals, and other needed resources for individuals and families facing hardship.
